Mr. Leo's Mini-English Lesson-----#1

For this first lesson I will talk about "other", "others", "the other", and "another".
Situation: There is a table with two apples on it. Leo says, "Megumi, I will eat one apple, and you can eat the other one. (I use "the " because it is a special apple. For example, I live in a white house; I do not live in The White House. (George Bush does.)
Example #2: Some people like apples and other people like mangoes.
Example #3: There is a table with 10 apples on it. I say, "I will eat one apple and Vilma can have all the others.
Example #4: There is a bunch of grapes on the table. I love grapes. I cannot eat just one grape, so I start by eating one grape and then I eat another and another and another until all the grapes are gone!
If you still have questions, ask them in the comment section, or write an example in the comment section to show me that you now understand what I was teaching.
