There is no such person as Andy Gump
The first part of this message is for Marianita: Marianita, I did not forget about you. My printer is not working right now, and I do not know why. I will copy your e-mail as soon as I can.
Tomorrow is Tuesday. We will do two idioms which will be on the whiteboard in the morning. We will do a DICTATION exercise.
Study this: THE PILGRIMS CAME TO MASSACHUSETTS IN 1620 FROM ENGLAND. THIS IS WHY WE SPEAK ENGLISH. 101 PILGRIMS LANDED AT PLYMOUTH ROCK. FIFTY-ONE OF THEM DIED THE FIRST WINTER. THEY DID NOT EXPECT NEW ENGLAND TO BE SO COLD!
We will also have a grammar lesson using the past tense and the present perfect tense. We will also do the two questions from the citizenship test that we did not do today.
When you see me tomorrow say, THERE IS NO SUCH PERSON AS ANDY GUMP. (Then I will know that you are reading the schoolnotes.
Oh, I learned a new Spanish word today: borradore. It means "eraser".
Pleasant dreams----Leo----P.S. There are only 9 of you so far, but your attendance has been excellent.
