A Message for Maria Cristina Suarez De Porras !

We missed you this morning! This is the first day you have missed class in months. I know Yvonne had to go to Florida with her husband to look for a job in a hospital down there, and you come to school together. Maybe that is why, or maybe it is the awful things that are going on in your country. I cannot believe the PAUCITY of information that is on the regular television about South America! It seems that the only country in the world is Iraq. I hope things get better in your country. Remember, dictators never last too long---except for a few like Castro
On a more pleasant subject: I think you are right about PODCASTS. The man from southern California was very good, but you need to hear a NEW ENGLAND ACCENT. Next year our class will have a NEW FEATURE. We will have MR. LEO"s PODCAST once a week (once one of my "geeky friends like Romeo or somebody else shows me how to make one.) I think I can get around the sound block on the computers at school by bringing in my laptop and using this "flashdrive" the way Ed Hudson did that day.(How do you like the lingo.)
I am going to show the Red Balloon tomorow, so if you haven't seen it, be there. It takes a longer time than Mr. Bean, but it is worth it......great vocabulary....I have the pictures from Khadidja's party thanks to Martha Wally----Be patient----I have no idea how to put pictures onto a blog or anyplace else.........help!.....Leo
