I will see if I can find a Spanish/English dictionary and find out what "caracoles" means. I think it is something like, "Wow" or "Gee" or Isn't that great!
I looked up "caracoles" in a Spanish dictionary. I think it says that the word does not exist. I also found out that "caracoles" means a half turn to the right that a horse takes in dressage. (fancy horseback riding) That is the best that I can do.
:-) That is fun! Caracoles are Snails. In Uruguayan's slang is an expression like "Wow" or "Gee"! You were right.
