A Big Thank You to Eunice Snay!
If you are a regular reader of this blog, then you know about the recent DISASTER that occurred when I ERASED ALL of my HELPFUL LINKS by mistake while I was trying to add more links to the blog. I had something like 21 links and I had nearly DOUBLED the number of links to 42 when------alas!-----I hit the wrong button and all the links disappeared into cyberspace! I didn't know what to do. I asked every guru that I knew. I asked Romeo Marquis, "Is there a way to undo this?" Answer: "NO."-----I sent an e-mail to Kim Perry, another whiz with computers. "What do I do now?"-----------???????--------I asked my Cathy for help.------Forget it.........Karen?.......Didn't even bother.........Lynda?........She is too busy at Hudson High School with television and too busy with her two kids Jessica and Rebecca to even tell her about it........I thought the only thing I could do would be to depend on my memory to put the links back......Not a very good option....Then while playing with my car keys the light went on!...Eureka!!.. The flashdrive!!...The flashdrive connected to the keyring which holds my car keys has the URL's for all 21 links stored in a handout that I gave out at the presentation I did at Network2007 in Marlboro last October. Why are all those URL's listed on my flashdrive? It is because Eunice Snay, the Central SABES Technology Coordinator, suggested that I do the handout A SECOND TIME (!) because my original handout while it listed my links, did not list their URL's. (I did not grumble to Eunice at the time, but I did grumble a little to myself because I felt I was doing all this work over again and for what?---I wasn't even employed!)
Well, to make a long story short, I plugged in my flashdrive and----VOILA!-------THERE ARE ALL 21 of the original links staring me in the face. The moral of this story? I don't know. You tell me. I will put them all back in due course. Right now I have to get ready for these scientists I am going to meet the day after tomorrow.
