The "Real" Brenda Starr

The real Brenda Starr was a character in the "funnies". The "funnies" is a word that children use to mean the comics in the newspaper. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck were in the comics. Little Orphan Annie was also popular years ago. Joe Palooka was another popular comic.
Brenda Starr was a beautiful red-headed reporter for the local newspaper in a large city such as New York or Chicago.
She has now been brought back to life as an anonymous "blogger" on the "Write, Write, Write" blog. When will she write her FIRST POST? It will be soon. I will only tell you that I am her teacher, and she does not have red hair. She may tell you more... (but this is Leo talking, NOT "Brenda Star") After she writes, I will correct her English using CAPITAL letters.
It is a great way to learn. Be patient though. This lady is very busy at her job, and besides, she has a husband and a beautiful three year old little girl to take care of.
