Lakale,
I went across the street to Fernando and he told me that "El Horno" means "The oven". (Fernando comes from Costa Rica.) He says they are popular in Central and South America. I know that you can't beat the taste of bread baked in a brick oven! (I am going to correctn your story now.)It has been a long time, hasn't it?)

Lakale,

I'm so pleased you posted a picture of the oven you made out of the bricks. I am so happy that you and your husband were able to put them to good use.
